Fox Valley Park District offers you group exercise for greater health and wellness at an excellent value. When you join our Fox Fitness program, you enjoy unlimited access to more than 75+ group exercise classes weekly at our three fitness locations. You also receive reduced rates for specialty classes such as Zumba, yoga and Tai Chi!

Energized, social and fun, our group exercise is led by professionally certified instructors for levels from beginner to advanced. The following are just a few of the classes you’ll find at our fitness centers (amenities and schedules vary by location).

Prisco Community Center

Barre Body Fusion ׀ Combine the basics of Barre, Pilates, & Yoga. A challenging, but low-impact workout with small, controlled movements, isometric holds and high repetitions. All levels welcome.

Cycling ׀ A dynamic indoor cycling experience on a specially designed stationary bike and set to music. A great non-impact workout for all fitness levels. Follow ride with cooldown and stretch.

Vinyasa Yoga ׀ Flow through a carefully balanced sequence of breath-guided postures. Create internal heat and breath awareness through sun salutations and holding postures while learning alignment. Leave class feeling rejuvenated. Suitable for all levels.

Zumba® ׀ Ditch the workout and join the party! Zumba is a fun cardio workout with easy-to-follow dance steps inspired by Latin rhythms, featuring “sizzling” south-of-the border moves that are “spicy hot!” Dancer or not, burn calories, work up a sweat and have a great time doing it!

Eola Community Center

AMPD Fusion ׀ Three workouts in one! Our AMPD instructors combine strength, cardio, and stretch to create a low impact, full body workout that is accessible for all fitness levels.

Alignment-Based Yoga ׀ This multi-level yoga class will use lyengar/alignment-based methods, incorporating a variety of movements and poses while focusing on the alignment of the bones and the entire body. Each class will have a specific theme and objective, suitable for a variety of fitness levels.

Step & Sculpt ׀ Simple, heart-pumping step aerobics routines combine with strength intervals to give you a complete cardio and weights workout. An excellent cross-training class for all skill and fitness levels.

The 15’s  | 15 minutes of cardio, 15 minutes of strength and 15 minutes of core training for a fitness-packed total-body workout.

Vaughan Athletic Center

Power Hour ׀ An intense total-body workout that challenges the body through a variety of methods to improve overall fitness with cardio kickboxing, weight training, athletic drills, and circuit training.

Fit Over 50 ׀ Designed for the active older adult. Focus on strength, cardio endurance, balance, and flexibility. Levels will be offered to meet fitness abilities.

Pilates & Restorative Yoga ׀ Slow, gentle core work emphasizing building strong bones, a healthy spine & greater pelvic stability to start. Followed by restorative to bring a state of body awareness, deep relaxation & the opportunity to release stress.

Ride Strong ׀ This unique class begins with 40 minutes of cycling and finishes with strength training, targeting every muscle group using moderate to heavy weights for a 60-minute total body workout!
